Had I known ahead of time, I don’t know that I would have changed any of the events that followed that day. I didn’t realize it at the time of course. It was the beginning of a whole new way of life for me. He waited while I belted myself into the couch, and then turned the vehicle towards town.
'Not a problem, glad to help out' replied Mike the driver. 'Thanks for the lift' I exclaimed as I climbed into the cabin of the waiting hovercraft.
